My Story

Mike has over 40 years experience in the service industry, specializing in the home improvement and building materials industry.

In 1975 Mike began at a retail/contractor lumber yard in Kansas City, and swiftly moved up the ladder into management with major building material retailers by providing instrumental improvements in sales, inventory, and management.

Working for a millwork distributor servicing home builders/remodelers and Mike was instrumental in streaming lining ordering consistently by building templates to improve ordering processing, inventory control, product assembly, and delivery to the end user.

As a manufacturer representative Mike was instrumental assisting dealers and distributors in

  • Sales training, by developing a sales methodology to consistently present products
    • Mike has presented to large audiences captivating their attentions during the presentation process as well as one on one’s to both B2B and B2H.
  • Marketing, by developing promotions to improve their ROI.
    • Everyone has the best thing to sell to market your business, Mike will assist in the process of developing a strategic marketing plan based on incoming sales calls for your best return of your marketing dollars.

As a small business owner Mike has consistently been applauded by other business owners for his ability to create and solve opportunities for improvements for their processes and organizational skills, mentoring team members to take their skills to the next level.
